DemocracyFest 2009 Schedule

All DemocracyFest acitivities, except the semi-guided tour of Burlington on Friday, will take place at the Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center

Friday, July 17th
Semi-guided tour of Burlington. You may join the tour at any of the stops listed below. Look for the people holding the DemocracyFest signs.
- 9:30 AM: Meet in the lobby at the Sheraton to car-pool down to the Leahy Echo Center. Most of the tour is within walking distance of this spot.
- 10:00 AM: Meet in front of the Leahy Echo Center and Museum. Going inside costs $9.50 each.
- 11:00 AM: Meet in front of the Leahy Echo Center to walk on the Howard Dean Walkway/Bike Path that goes along the shore of Lake Champlain.
- 12:00 PM: Meet in front of Starbucks on Church Street to go up and walk along Church Street, home to many shops, cafes, outside venders, Ben & Jerry’s, etc.
- 2:00 PM: Meet back at the lobby of the Sheraton to carpool to South Burlington for the open house tour of DFA’s National Headquarters.
- 4:00 PM: Meet at the Magic Hat Brewery factory tour in South Burlington, and carpool back to the Sheraton after the tour.
6:30 PM:
- Democracy For Vermont Meet and Greet at the Sheraton's Tuckaway Pub
8:00 PM:
- Welcome Party at the Sheraton's Tuckaway Pub
